Soft skills are among the most valuable tools a professional can have, yet they are among the least taught. I’ve watched brilliant people walk into rooms underprepared — not because they lacked ability, but because no one ever taught them how to carry it.

I’m Tamara Abney — a professional empowerment consultant, certified etiquette and protocol trainer, personal stylist, and the reigning America’s Most Beautiful Mrs. Pennsylvania 2026.
For over two decades I’ve worked at the intersection of leadership, communication, image, and presence — helping professionals, executives, public figures, and influential women show up with confidence, authority, and intention.
My business was officially founded in 2019 — but the passion behind it has been with me my entire life. I have always believed in lifting people up, helping them recognize their potential, and giving them the skills to bring their very best forward in every season of life.
Rather than simply inspiring others, I focus on equipping them with the habits and tools they can use daily — turning confidence into action and presence into power.
Through The Advantage Training I equip organizations and professionals with the soft skills, executive presence, and business etiquette needed to compete at the highest level. Through The Style Advantage I help women of influence, impact, and intention show up looking and feeling exactly as powerful as they are.

HER STORY
Before founding her business, Tamara held senior leadership roles across corporate training, hospitality, tourism, sales, and business development — including Senior Manager of Business Solutions at Per Scholas and Director of Multicultural Sales at the Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau.
As a former model and celebrated pageant titleholder — including America’s Most Beautiful Mrs. Pennsylvania 2026, Mrs. Pennsylvania International 2024, and Mrs. Pennsylvania America 2022 — Tamara brings a rare and powerful combination of business acumen and image expertise to every client she serves.
Community is at the heart of everything she does. In 2015 Tamara founded SisterFriend, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting women’s health initiatives. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a Sustaining Member of the Association of Junior Leagues International.
CURRENT ROLE
Tamara currently serves as Vice President of Community Relations and Outreach at Entrepreneurs Forever — bringing the same passion for empowerment to the entrepreneurial community that drives every aspect of her professional work.
